Garnethill Synagogue

Glasgow’s growing Jewish population in the 1870s meant that a larger synagogue was badly needed, and so Scotland’s first purpose-built synagogue was constructed at Garnethill in the City Centre between 1879 an 1881. You can read more about it here.
